Debra joined the firm in 1976. She is a certified paralegal in estates and trusts. She works with all the firm’s attorneys in probate, estate, trust, and related tax work. Deb and her husband, Loren, live on a farm near Sheldon. They have two children and four grandchildren.
Clerical, Worthington Community College. Lori joined the firm in 1989. She works primarily with Mike Thole. Her duties include real estate matters, title opinions, estate planning, corporate work, and municipal work. Lori lives on a farm near Little Rock, Iowa with her husband, Erwin. They have three children and four grandchildren.
Lesa attended Nettleton Business College. She joined the firm in 1990, and assists all the attorneys as needed. As the office’s main receptionist, she answers the phone and greets clients. She also maintains the firm’s accounts receivable and collections. Lesa and her husband, Dan, live and farm near Sibley, Iowa. They have four children and ten grandchildren.
Accounting, Northwest Iowa Community College. Marsha joined the firm in 1995. She assists Dan DeKoter with his legal work. She is also the bookkeeper including accounts payable and payroll. Marsha lives with her husband, Dennis, on a farm near George, Iowa. They have two children and six grandchildren.
Nora joined the firm in 2016, and assists all attorneys as needed, but works primarily with Nathan Rockman. Education: Associates of Art Degree in Paralegal Studies, Kirkwood Community College and Bachelor of Science Degree in Criminal Justice, Colorado Technical University. Her duties include assisting with title opinions, corporate files, litigation, opening & closing files, and managing office supplies.
Kyla joined the firm in 2020. She works primarily with Brandon Krikke. Her duties include assisting with real estate matters, family matters, municipal work and estate planning. Kyla lives in Sanborn with her daughter, Hadley.
